Welcome to the July 2026 Edition of The Learning Scoop!
Summer is off to an incredible start at Beyond the Scope Learning! We are so proud of our scholars for the enthusiasm, curiosity, and growth they have demonstrated throughout the first month of our Summer Programs. From Kindergarten Readiness to Tutoring and Enrichment, our students continue to build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and discover that learning can be both meaningful and fun.
This month, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of our families, friends, and community supporters, we reached our fundraising goal. Your support allows us to continue investing in meaningful learning experiences and exciting opportunities for our scholars. We sincerely appreciate every person who helped make this fundraiser a success.
Our Kindergarten Readiness Bootcamp has already completed two exciting weeks. During Week One, students explored All About Animals through hands on learning activities. In Week Two, they expressed their creativity during Colorful Creations while continuing to strengthen early literacy and math skills. We are excited for the weeks ahead as students learn about Healthy Habits and Healthy Foods and become Number Explorers through engaging activities designed to prepare them for kindergarten success.
We are also excited to recognize Gabrielle and Tristan in this month’s CLS Respite Spotlight. They have been valued members of our CLS Respite family, and we are thrilled to now support them through our Tutoring and Enrichment Summer Program as well. We look forward to helping them continue building confidence, independence, academic skills, and meaningful learning experiences throughout the summer.
This month’s Student Spotlight celebrates two outstanding scholars for reaching important reading milestones. Congratulations to Mina for completing Level 1 Sight Words and Braylon for completing Level 4 Sight Words. Their hard work, determination, and consistency are paying off, and we could not be more proud of their accomplishments.
Summer enrollment remains open for families looking for high quality tutoring, enrichment, or Kindergarten Readiness support. Our small group approach allows every scholar to receive individualized instruction while building confidence and strengthening academic skills. Families interested in joining Beyond the Scope Learning are encouraged to contact us soon because space is limited.
As a friendly reminder, please continue confirming appointments through Square. If your child will be absent, please notify us by 12:00 PM on the day of your scheduled session. Our Summer Programs continue through August 13, 2026, and we appreciate your partnership in helping our schedule run smoothly.
This month’s Parent Tip is simple but powerful. Encourage your child to read for 15 to 20 minutes each day. Daily reading strengthens vocabulary, improves comprehension, builds confidence, and helps prevent summer learning loss. A few minutes of reading each day can make a lasting difference when the new school year begins.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Beyond the Scope Learning family. We are excited for everything the rest of the summer has in store and look forward to continuing to help every scholar learn, grow, and succeed. Thank you for your continued trust and support as we work together to build confident learners, one scholar at a time.
